'Slenderverse: The Rise and Fall of Slenderman' from director Alex Hera reveals new perspectives on how Slenderman developed into a viral icon, and how the artistic movement known as the Slenderverse was torn apart by a horrific true crime carried out in the name of the Slenderman, poorly received adaptations of the character, and the corruption of their movement from the inside.
