Between States

Set in present day New York. A couple of poor comedians named Mike and Kinta, who dream of winning an Emmy Award, get into an accident just after losing their job at a nightclub. Surprisingly they recover their consciousness in a Japanese hospital during World War II. Mike and Kinta realize they have been reincarnated as Kamikaze pilots of the Japanese Navy.

Spencer Appleberry, a United States Marine, returns home to find himself in a dead-end job and addicted to alcohol. When a sympathetic Iraqi therapist takes him under her wing and introduces him to her older brother, Spencer finds civilian life can be just as dangerous as war.

Nony, a shy college student, suffers severe shell shock in the Third Lebanon War. In an experimental treatment, the psychiatrist instructs his friends and family to play along with Nony's delusion that he is now a rock star named Amnon.

A young girl from a good family runs away from home and finds herself in the middle of easy girls of the great military port of Toulon. An honest marine officer guesses her distress and marries her.
