Ilya Evlanov was born in Kiev into the family of TV manager Mikhail Nitsberg. He was at the forefront of the creation of several thematic satellite TV channels. One of them - «Eurocinema» - became the best channel in 2011 in Russia. In the same year he began filming his first feature film as a producer. Tragically died in London in August 2011.
