A a team of documentary filmmakers comprised of two students and a teacher traveled to Ghana during the summer of 2011. While there, they shot a documentary about the Kayayo: a group of teens from the rural northern regions of Ghana who travel to the larger southern cities to work as laborers and/or porters in the busy markets. They work to make money for school, they work for new lives, they work to survive. The film shares the stories of two Kayayo teens as well as the experiences of the two teen filmmakers.—Anonymous
