In a small Italian town, 15-year-old Sarah vanishes on August 26, 2010. Her disappearance initially seems innocent but takes a dark turn, leaving her cousin Sabrina and the entire community distraught and searching for answers.

Avetrana is a small town in the Southern Italy, in Apulia, near to the sea. On August, 26th 2010, a 15-year-old girl, Sarah, disappears. All the town is upset, in particular her cousin Sabrina who was waiting Sarah that afternoon to go to the beach. Firstly it looked like an innocent runaway, but it isn't. Sarah has been already swallowed by the dark.
