Thomas and his silent-of-speaking son Niklas (Victor Lykke Clausen) are still suffering from the traumatic death of their wife and mother two years earlier in a yet unresolved car crash. Life has been rough to them all. Black-market creditors are on their neck. So are Thomas'es dad, the police and the social community threatening to take Niklas away from home.
