Yamato Delgado who acquires the legendary B-Daman known as Cobalt Blade, joins his friends using the sport of B-Daman to fight against the evil Shadow Alliance. This show takes place in the B-DaWorld, where its inhabitants vary.
Upon the creation of marble launching machines known as B-Daman, people started to participate in the competitive sport B-DaBattles. However, B-Daman contain hidden powers which enhance marble shooting that can be misused for combative purposes. One night, a certain object residing behind the walls of a restaurant calls upon Yamato Daiwa-a boy raised by cats. Yamato has been having visions of the object which resembles a machine familiar to everyone. Little does he know, hidden behind the walls is not a mere machine, but the fate of the world.
In another world, the Bedaworld, balls from ancient times are admired and a game called Bedaman, fought with those balls, develops. Daiwa Yamato is a young boy with quite the Be-Spirit. Yamato is chosen user of the Kobalt Blade by the rulers of Beda World, the Beda-Magicians. One after another, Yamato is attacked by members of the evil organization called Shadow. Are the true aims of Shadow to rule the Beda World? Or do they want something else?. Growing up with burning battles and without trustful friendship, what could possibly be lying on Yamatos paths?
