'Frank struggles to keep it together while an awkward gang of angels serve only to make things worse.'

Frank's a good guy by most standards. Works hard. Well liked. Tries to be a good father and husband- of course he's so caught up in working hard to take care of his family that he hardly has the time or attention span to actually take care of his family. Amidst a slew of other problems, Frank discovers his brother-in-law Stan has embezzled almost a million dollars leaving Frank without the cash needed to keep his business afloat. As it all begins to topple, three awkward angels arrive serving only to make things worse. Frank tries to save his company but fails. His wife faces her fear of going back to work, and the kids are left trying to make sense of a situation beyond their years. The humans aren't the only ones with issues of inadequacy; messenger angel Harry is pained by the self-inflicted suffering of humanity, Maria has her own existential crisis while trying to comfort the one she's meant to help, and Purvis struggles to grasp the delicacies of manscaping. Frank's unexpected season of self-reflection paired with the angels' oddly profound insights, poignant observations, and comedic hi-jinks force him to confront the inner darkness of insecurity, fear and despair that until now lied dormant within.
