Edward Jankis continues his journey to find out who murdered his family by meeting the mysterious man who called his phone at the end of "Behind Closed Doors". But who can Edward truly trust as it seems everyone is in on a huge conspiracy.
Edward has now been captured by the young detective who is linking him to a series of murders carried out by the elusive Barcode Killer. Edward is shocked as this is the first time he hears of this as all he wants to do is find out who murdered his wife and child. Edward manages to escape police custody and tries to follow the instructions left by the mystery man who left him a voicemail. Edward ends up in a trap house and then is harass by an aggressive drug king pin named Alex. He notices Edwards cellphone and quickly realizes it belongs to his girl friend Marie who has been missing for some time. Edward is about to get killed when Sammy talks him out of it. Sammy then goes with Edward to try and find Marie and that is when he reveals to him that he was the one who left him the voicemail. Sammy explains he's part of a resistance that is trying to stop the government from enslaving society and that he might know who murdered his family. Sammy also knows where Marie is and that she has a book bag that has important files in it that could foil the governments plan as well as who murdered his family. With this information, Edward is more motivated than ever as he goes into this seemingly abandon house. But what will Edward really find in there?

He finds these weird bandaged up man in there that he knocks out as he goes into the attic to find Marie. He finds her but she doesn't have her book bag and seems to be extremely out of it, possibly on drugs. Edward tells Marie that he can't leave without the book bag and that they have to hurry as Sammy is waiting for them. When Marie hears this she begins to panic hysterically and Edward has to knock her out. He goes down stairs to the basement where he finds a woman who has been beaten near to death. She begs for Edwards help but she is chained up. Edward can't cut her loose so he apologizes and leaves her behind as he finds the book bag. He goes back up for Marie as he helps her down the stairs but the door is locked. Edward gets a phone call but it's not from Sammy. The voice says, don't believe his lies. Edward is confused as more bandaged up lunatics chase after him. As Edward puts Marie back in Sammy's car, Sammy shoots Edward in the shoulder and drives off. Edward calls Sammy who tells him that he was lying the whole time and just wanted to money in the book bag. Edward throws his phone away in frustration as he begins to run towards the woods as more lunatics chase after him. Edward falls to the ground as he is loosing a lot of blood and is seemingly captured by the lunatics. The ending of the movie shows Marie with the Detective's about to explain her encounter with Edward as the credits roll. The 3rd and final part of the series is titled, "Behind The Truth"
