Little witch Bibi Blocksberg has a problem. Her vacation is shattered because she has poor school results. But the head of the school, Dr. Quirin, has a secret, and Bibi is determined to work with Elea, a girl she befriended, to unravel this secret so she can save her vacation.—RevanaObama
Poor Bibi - due to her bad marks in maths she has to spend the whole summer in the boarding school of Altenberg to scrape through a series of exams - otherwise she'd stay down in school, being forced to repeat the year. No camping, no white-water rafting, no vacation at all. So it doesn't surprise anyone that the young witch is quite disgruntled when arriving at Altenberg Castle. Her roommate is a touchy unpleassant fashion victim and headmaster Quirin Bartels is so muddle-headed that he can't even remember the names of his students properly. But then Bibi makes friends with Elea, a girl wheelchair-bound since a terrible accident where she also lost her beloved parents. Now Bibi is determined to help the sensitive Elea, searching a way to heal her from her palsy legs. Aunt Walpurgia, the respectable witch of the coven of Blocksberg, tells Bibi the legend of the blue owls, also called "Solace Owls" - magical beasts with a healing powder hidden in their blue coats. These owls have been vanished from earth after a solar eclipse but legend has it that some of the powder remained in the caves of Altenberg. Bibi and Elea are on their quest now - but there's another person seeking to find the hidden treasure - Rabia, the evil witch who just escaped from her exile in the spooky moors. Most unfortunatly Rabia has still a score to settle with Bibi...
