Most of the dwellers of Cheremi village have not watched TV for more than 2 decades. They live without electricity, road, shops, traffic, or the medical center in 3 hours' drive distance from the capital of Georgia.15-year-old Sopho is the only student in her class, and she is planning to leave the place as soon as she finishes the high school. This film is about the every day life of those Georgians who live in extraordinarily harsh conditions in their Cheremi 'world,' where the 82-year-old Nika Papa can't replace his broken lantern for the fire lamp, because they are not sold in the market any more.—Anonymous
