A young Viking Boy goes with his Father and his crew on journies.

The setting is the Viking Age (c. 800-1050). The 9-year-old boy Vicky is a chieftain's son, but he is far from the ideal specimen for his culture's warrior image. He is physically frail, and rather timid. However, Vicky has a gifted intellect, and he is particularly good at problem solving. His father Halvar learns rather quickly that Vicky can provide solutions to various problems faced by their village, so he uses Vicky's advice for his own benefit. A prominent supporting is the elderly druid Urobe. He provides detailed information about the past, and serves as both judge and mediator in various disputes.—Dimos I

Long ago, in a little Viking Village called Flake, young Wickie lives a happy life. His father, Halvar, is the chief of the Vikings, and would have liked a son a little more courageous. So, he and his team take Wicke along on their journeys to give him the experience he'll need to be a real Viking. Yet, somehow Halvar and his men end up trapped or hopelessly stuck somewhere in most cases, and it's up to Wickie alone to help them out with his flashes of wit.—Julian Reischl <[email protected]>
