Steven Keeney is a big corporate lawyer who decides to take on a small-time murder case to discover the true circumstances behind the death of a young girl. Wynn Burkholder (portrayed by Wendy Makkena) dies after she falls off the cliff at Big Sur California. Her death is then investigated by Steven Heeny (portrayed by Peter Horton), who uncovers Wynn's travelling companion, Virginia McGinnis' trail of crime and deception with insurance frauds.
