Four guys serve their prison sentences in the jovial and not-very-authoritarian prison in Maribo.

Henry has a drink driving conviction which he hides from his wife and mother. On the train on the way to Maribo, where he is to serve his sentence, Henry meets three other gentlemen who also happen to be going to Maribo. And - it turns out later - also in prison.
