Washington, D.C. has a new defender: Freakazoid. The comedy and insanity never stop when he's around, and he's only one of the weird heroes of the series. It's better than a nice tub of good things.

Computer geek Dexter Douglas (David Haufman) turns into uncontrollable, unpredictable superhero Freakazoid (Paul Rugg), who dons red long underwear, blue skin, and weird hair. The transformation occurs while Dexter surfs on the internet. As a superhero, he fights crime whenever he sees it perpetrated by goofy villains, with his friends Steff (Tracy Rowe) and Sergeant Mike Cosgrove (Edward Asner).—Ondre Lombard <[email protected]>

On Christmas, young Dexter Douglas (David Haufman) of Washington, D.C. received the Pinnacle chip as a gift. He then went on the internet, but a flaw in the chip sucked him in. It filled his head with all the information on the 'net, but he became very silly. As superhero Freakazoid (Paul Rugg), he fights evil with urbane jokes and humiliates villains.—Jeff Le Cates <[email protected]>
