"The Friends of the ABC" centres around the web-based meetings of the eponymous social justice group, lead by Agatha Enjolras. What originally brings the group to action is the murder of a local homeless man, committed by a police officer assumed to be Javert (a policeman known to many members of the group). This sparks a call to arms, and the group initiate plans for a peaceful protest. As the series progresses, we delve deeper into the relationships between the characters, as well as their relationship, or lack thereof, with social justice.—Shannon Gray
