A group of nine lifelong friends closer to the 50s than the 40s meet to celebrate 1990 New Year's Eve. But when all are reunited, they receive a call phone from Mario, the only one of the friends absent of the reunion, to announce them his attempt to commit suicide. The rest of the group starts a race against the clock through Madrid's streets looking for their friend.
