Spunky showgirl Rosemary Lebeau inherits a nightclub empire, but then must fend off the phony affections of gold-digging men. Though Rosemary is engaged to cop Jimmy Murphy, Max Lassiter, a sneaky gangster, aggressively vies for her hand and wealth.
