'Heal the Ocean' is a docu-interview with Hillary Hauser telling the story of how a public demonstration took place on the county administration building on August 27, 1999, and Heal the Ocean was formed as a result. Hillary recounts how from it's beginnings, the organization has captured the hearts and minds of Santa Barbara citizens as well as local, regional and state agencies. Heal the Ocean has not only made actual infrastructure changes, but has found funding for infrastructure upgrade. For example, because of the work of this organization, actual waste septic systems are being removed from 7 miles of south Santa Barbara County coastline.—Anonymous
