With his life hanging by a thread, the local Resistance movement turns to an unlikely saviour: Grigoris Tsavos, a timid travelling showman bearing an uncanny resemblance to von Ruben, a ruthless high-ranking SS officer. Despite his apprehension, Grigoris must pluck up the courage to lead a crucial mission to rescue the captured military man.
