A young couple face challenges when their respective families don't get along.
Aman, a talented young architect, raised by his Uncle has all the love and care a family could offer, even if he does take it for granted. While working towards his dream, his life takes a beautiful turn when he bumps into the perfect girl Neha. The two fall in love, and nothing seems able to come between them. Nothing, that is, until it comes time for their families to meet. Sparks fly. Every known disaster strikes when the hyper-vibrant Mr. Bhalla and the rigidly-conventional Mr. Patel meet and their differences become hilariously apparent. The two are woefully mismatched from the start. Disapproval inevitably comes when the two fathers lock horns, but the lovebirds, true to their feelings, are ready to do anything to make their dreams come true. They must find a way to bring their families together which leads to a comical series of misadventures of the two disapproving, faultfinding fathers. Between the struggles of making his career dreams a reality and bringing two families together, Aman realizes the true definition of family and what it really means to love someone.—Sonia
Raised by his U.S.-based businessman paternal uncle, Bhalla, Aman, an Architect is originally from Chandigarh. The rest of the family consists of his aunt and cousin, Preeti. He has a girlfriend in Neha Patel, informs the Bhallas of his intent to marry Neha and they accompany him to meet the Patels - consisting of Dinesh and Meena - Neha's dad and mom respectively. From the outset itself the two families find themselves incompatible - Patels are vegetarian and non-alcoholic - and the Bhallas are quite the opposite. Dinesh finds Aman's uncle too loud and wants his daughter to get married to the son of Mr. Kapadia. The sourness between their respective families does have a major impact on the young couple - even more so when Aman announces that he intends to move to New York and pursue his career there. Things only get worse when Dinesh finds out that Bhalla and his Punjabi friends may have been responsible for the fire that destroyed his banquet hall.—rAjOo ([email protected])
