After the Russo-Turkish War, Major Prince Raevskiy goes missing. His wife Sofya searches for him, rescuing him from Turkish captivity but facing accusations of betrayal. To save her husband, Sofya embarks on another journey to the East.

1878. At the end of the Russian-Turkish War, Prince Aleksey Raevskiy, who was fighting on the Balkan front with the rank of major, goes missing.
