Synopsis

A small car garage, named after it's owner Edgar - the Edgarage - is at the edge of bankruptcy, Edgar, decides to spend whatever money he has have left to take his small group of mechanics on a last trip to see the Norwegian soccer team at the World Cup in Germany. They all love soccer - hence the bare chested NORWAY formation they became so famous for - and this would be a great gift before the garage is taken over by his creditor - Kjøniksen. It becomes an unforgettable road trip that changes their lives. Little do the rest of the lads know the real reason for Edgar's intentions - he wants to reconnect with his long lost son, who plays for the German team. On the road they all have life changing experiences. Petter whose relationship is failing realizes he's going to be a father and learns to devote himself as a husband, Oivind, the virgin, finally breaks his virginity, Edgar eventually meets his son, Kai the ex-alcoholic gets arrested, and Kartsen, the one on welfare - well he does not change at all. On the way they run into a lot of trouble, mostly because of Edgar's Christian nephew, Helge who replaced Freddy who decided to stay behind. Eventually they make it to the big Soccer finale at the Berlin Stadium and accidentally end up being the reason Norway wins the world championship. Due to lack of motivation in the Norwegian team our lads put on an unforgettable show in front of 70.000 people and the whole match changes. On the way Oivind realizes that his mother has left him millions and he's therefore able to rescue the garage out of it's financial disaster. It all ends well with the famous soccer coach, José Mourinho making a cameo appearance to ask if he can become the manager for the local team in Fredrikstad. This first movie, which was a massive hit, takes the mechanics from the Edgarage to the World Cup Soccer in Germany. A journey that becomes a life changing experience for every single one of them.
