Three loosely-linked tales that involve assorted video recording devices. The first: the maker of Dee Bee International movies, Rahul Kumar, falls in love with the lead heroine, Shruti Dahiya, and is thrilled to know that she, too, loves him. He is disheartened when he finds out that her father has already arranged her marriage with a male based in Canada, and the couple decide to elope and marry. The Second: Heavily in debt, Adarsh, who works in a All Night Store, first attempts to woo co-worker, Sonal, albeit in vain, then does succeed in wooing a second co-worker, Rashmi, with some success and a hidden agenda. And the Third: Dancer Mrignaina Biswas is upset after being unceremoniously used and dumped by Loki Local, and decides to take revenge with the help of a male, Prabhat, and the media.—rAjOo ([email protected])
An over-the-top parody of a quasi-news program promises to narrate three exciting "stories", which are the inter-connected episode of namely, love, sex and deceit (Dhokha). The program claims that all footage is shot by amateurs using hand held electronic devices such as mobile phones, cameras, hidden devices and so on.
Love: Superhit Pyaar
Rahul (Anshuman Jha), a 20-something infatuated with the candy-gloss of Bollywood romances, is a wannabe director who has to make a film for the diploma of his film course. Rahul decides to shoot a small budget film to enter a contest hoping to meet his idol, Bollywood director Aditya Chopra. He meets all types of up-and-coming actors, but mostly have copycat styles of existing Bollywood actors and actresses.
During auditions, he falls in love with the young woman he picks to be the leading actress, Shruti (Nushrat Bharucha) for the film titled "Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna". Shahid (Ashish Sharma) is playing the male lead.Shruti belongs to an orthodox, newly rich New Delhi family, and her father (Sandeep Bose) is a real estate magnate who is lampooned for his philistinism. Shruti's father frowns upon her staying out late for the shoot. Rahul goes to Shruti's home to seek permission from her father. Rahul offers the role of the father to Shruti's father and then gets him to agree to Shruti playing the role of his daughter on screen.The two bond, become closer, and define their relationship by confessing their love for each other. Shruti introduces Rahul to her best friend Rashmi.
Meanwhile, Shruti's father doesn't like the story of the short film and wants Rahul to introduce some item numbers and more spicy elements. He says that Shruti is now engaged and wants Rahul to change the story of his film, where the female lead runs away with the love of her life.
However, Shruti's overprotective and aggressive brother Atul (Atul Mongia) overhears their telephone conversation and attacks the movie set to find out the identity of the guy who loves Shruti to no avail. Atul suspected Shahid to be Shruti's boyfriend and roughs him up. Due to her father's pressure, Rahul has to wrap up the remaining shoot in one day.Shruti tells Rahul her father will get her married to someone else and she will be forced to move to Canada in a week; they elope and get married.
From their honeymoon suite, they call Shruti's family for their love and acceptance. Shruti's father and brother are initially furious but then approve and tell them they will be sending a car to pick them up from the hotel. During the car ride, the couple are ambushed by Shruti's brother and his hired goons, who beat them up in a graphic scene with hockey sticks, and then brutally cut their bodies using an ax, burying the dismembered parts under a railway culvert. The episode ends with the murderers casually sharing booze and joking with the accomplice saddled with the task of digging.
Sex: Paap Ki Dukkaan
Shruti's friend Rashmi (Neha Chauhan) works night shifts in a local supermarket to support her family. Adarsh (Rajkummar Rao) is a 20-something supermarket supervisor who has obtained the job due to his family connections with the store's owner and has outstanding debts to settle with the loan sharks.
He makes a pact with one of his friends to make a sex tape with one of the employees to sell for a large amount of money to the media. Rashmi is a competent employee who maintains a cool head during emergency situations. A person named Prabhat is shot inside the store, and Rashmi quickly gets Adarsh to call an ambulance and saves the person's life. The owner of the store sold the shootout footage to the media for Rs 40,000.
Adarsh sets his sights on Rashmi as she is the simple and homely type girl. Adarsh starts reaching out to Rashmi and spends more time with her and gradually she also accepts him as a friend. Rashmi cuts her hair and modernizes her wardrobe. Rashmi can sense that Adarsh wants to have sex with her but keeps her distance and doesn't encourage him.Rashmi encourages Adarsh to do better inside the store and says that she has complete confidence that Adarsh will complete a task when he sets his mind to it. Adarsh finds that Rashmi's father passed away.
But this results in Adarsh developing genuine feelings for her. He decides to back out of the MMS plan.Adarsh professes his love for Rashmi and wants to kiss her, but she is conscious that there are cameras all over the store. Rashmi wants to become a model and speaks to another regular visitor to the store, which irritates Adarsh. When Adarsh confronts Rashmi, she pushes him back firmly and says that he does not own her.Adarsh's feelings for Rashmi are suppressed by his greed and plus the loan sharks are constantly on his back.
Rashmi receives news regarding Shruti and Rahul's horrible death and is deeply saddened. Taking advantage of her vulnerability, he has sex with her and records it on the camera inside his office in the store.Having sold the footage, Adarsh is able to pay off his debts. It is later revealed that Rashmi was fired from the supermarket and shunned by her family.
Dhokha: Badnaam Shohorat
Prabhat (Amit Sial), an investigative reporter who uses spy cams to establish sting operations, is in desperate need of a groundbreaking story to get a bonus from the news company which employs him. He saves Naina (short for Mrignaina) (Arya Banerjee), an aspiring dancer, from drowning when she jumps from a bridge. Naina, who is initially furious at Prabhat, plans a sting operation with him to exact revenge on Loki Local (Herry Tangri), a music icon who asked her to trade sex for the position of leading dancer in his upcoming music video.
The duo brings the sting footage to the media, who provoke them to plan another sting: Naina will supposedly blackmail Loki by threatening to reveal the initial footage in an attempt to catch him red-handed as he tries to bribe her - to render false any accusations by Loki of fabrication of footage. Naina meets Loki in the supermarket where Rashmi works to carry out the sting, while Prabhat watches closely.
The plan goes awry when Loki tries to steal the camera and shoots Prabhat, who is immediately admitted into the hospital. Naina comes to meet Prabhat to hand over the footage so that he can get the bonus, but he decides to protect Naina's dignity and refuses to give his superiors the footage and resigns.
However, it is revealed that Naina shockingly betrayed Prabhat by accepting the role as dancer in Loki's new music video, "Love, Sex Aur Dhokha," which is a parody on the events of the sting operation.The end titles roll over the supposed music video footage.
