Broke in the lead up to Christmas, family man James agrees to a murderous mission. But his mark is the last person he expects.

James is an American who lives in the UK with his British wife and daughter. He works in a DIY shop but loses his job during cuts in staff. His neighbour Brian is very upset one night and he tells James that Steve slept with his wife in their bed he bought when they married. He offers James money to murder Steve. He accepts the job but James receives the surprise of his life when he breaks into Steve's house to kill him.

Unemployed and burdened with debt James Dempsey is a desperate man. After a drunken session with his embittered neighbour Brian James agrees to kill Steve, the man who has been having an affair with Brian's wife, for £1200. James is an inept hit-man but he is amazed to find that his supposed victim is actually Father Christmas, who talks him out of the deal and ultimately convinces him that things will get better for him.—don @ minifie-1
