As a child, you are taught that you are not like others. You are sensing the hatred of those who are like you. The teachers told me and my little brother we could not speak our language. At work people talk about "the damn Lapps", like I don't exist sitting there right in front of them. When I read the news about how we stand in the way for growth and progress I can understand why people have come to hate us.
