Luisa, a feisty and strong-willed pharma executive with a knack for thinking outside the box gets way in over her head after realizing that the remedy for curing her son Max's rare disease lies in tampering with dinosaur-DNA. They kick her out, leading Luisa to flee to Austria, her home country - with some dinosaur-DNA she illicitly took from the lab in tow. Keen on doing all it takes to cure her son she risks it all - and clones a dinosaur. And yet again she gets much more than she bargained for: The prehistoric creature forms a strong bond with Max, ending in a friendship spanning millions of years. But danger lurks just around the corner: Luisas secret leaks out and the pharma bosses are willing to stop at nothing to get back what they claim is theirs.
