Thanasis, a kind-hearted man lives with his wife Froso and his mother in law in Athens. He is desperately trying to have a baby, while suffering hell on earth due to his mother in law, his boss and the difficult society of Greece in 1980s.

Struggling to provide for his family while living under the same roof with his beautiful wife, Froso, and his insufferably meddling mother-in-law, Aggela, the peaceful insurance agent, Thanassis Chatzithanassis, has a lot on his plate. But, there is nothing worse than depriving a dreamer of his noble aspiration--and right now, more than anything in the world--Thanassis wants to be a father. As a result, the poor husband is willing to try out exotic potions and all sorts of aphrodisiac foods to boost his sex drive; nevertheless, in vain. It seems that Thanasis is up against a formidable and invincible adversary. Can he slay the cursed serpent of ill luck to find happiness?—Nick Riganas
