Mayor Brian Ortega is beloved in the idyllic community of Long Grove. While decorating for Christmas with the residents, Brian discovers his childhood Christmas wish list which magically begins to come true.

Mayor Brian discovers a wish list he wrote as a child. Suddenly, his wishes start coming true-he dances like Fred Astaire in the middle of town, receives his dream car as a loaner when his own breaks down, and more. Meanwhile, the town is under threat from a businessman planning to build new developments that would completely change its character. On top of all this, Nina, Brian's childhood crush, reappears in town.
