An American submarine has to accept a group of nurses on its voyage. One way or another, the submarine is painted pink in the process.

It's hijinks on the high seas when a U.S. submarine has to take on a collection of female nurses. Somehow or another, the sub gets painted pink in the process.—Afterburner <[email protected]>

The series start when Lt. Comdr. Matthew Sherman takes command of a submarine during the war. His crew is just a group of misfits but Sherman makes use of their skill, mostly to do some semi-illegal stuff, to get torpedoes and paint for his submarine. But they've only got pink, because a member of the crew accidentally spills all of the gray, so now they've got a pink submarine. If that's not enough, they are ordered to pick up a group of nurses and make sure they are safe. But before they can drop off the nurses, they are sent out on patrol and the nurses are "taking over" the ship. In the series they get from one comical. and possibly-dangerous situation into another.—Mammoth
