Two wastrels discover their purpose in life when a doctor gets into a legal tangle with a factory owner.

Azhagu (Vimal) and Michael (Soori) are on the run from some angry villagers and board a train to Chennai. On the way they meet Priya (Priya Anand) a good hearted doctor and our hero falls madly in love with her. Priya is a crusader fighting for some workers in a factory run by the unscrupulous Selva Vinayagam (Nasser) and his cruel wife (Anupama Kumar). Priya's best friend Kalpana (Visakha Singh) had died due to the carelessness of the factory management who are trying to suppress it.
