Project Ghazi is a superhero movie that evolves around a thread to the project soldiers. It's a story of an advanced soldier project and it spans over a period of 20 years.
Major Zain (Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui) is a brilliant SSG commando and the son of a Siachin martyr. On a mission he shows extraordinary skills, without using a weapon, and rescues civilian hostages. Sent back to the base for investigation, he meets a military researcher Zara (Syra Shehroz) who finds out that Zain has no memory of whatever he has done on the mission and he has no control over the super strength exhibited over there. Investigating further, Zara comes to know that Zain's late father was chosen for Project Ghazi, a confidential program to enhance soldiers' skills through genetic modification. With Zain not even born before the initiation of the project, it could only have been possible that he inherited his modified genes from his father. Project Ghazi was discontinued midway and Zara knows that the questions about the ultimate fate of the project can be unanswered by two people; Zain's uncle (Talat Hussain) the main scientist or Salaar (Humayun Saeed) the only original Ghazi soldier surviving. The curiosity of Zara and Zain gets interrupted by sudden terror attacks generated by Qataan (Adnan Jaffer), a masked villain with super powers of his own. Initially Qataan targets military scientists and establishments giving hints that he has something to do with Project Ghazi and it's ultimate fate. Salaar joins Zara and Zain in their conquest but somehow Qataan proves one step ahead of them as he seems to know about their plans before hand. Through a hard drive recovered by Salaar during an earlier mission, Zara and Salaar find out who the mole is in their ranks, but is it too late as Qataan has already executed a deadly plan against the city of Karachi.
