American heavy metal band Queensrÿche's concert movie shot in Wisconsin during four nights of touring that features the band's entire live theatrical performance of their classic concept album Operation Mindcrime. The album's story is illustrated with animated segments and bits of acted dialogue. It follows young, disillusioned idealist Nikki who, through manipulation, drug addiction and brainwashing, gets recruited by mysterious, sinister demagogue Dr. X to kill for his secretive, highly influential, revolutionary fascist underground organization. When Nikki's ordered to assassinate a beautiful, saintly prostitute turned nun called Mary who knows too much about X and his group, he falls for her and starts questioning his orders, which puts both him and her in mortal danger.
