A reporter Okatani Wataru, who works in newspaper company finds his wife unfaithful. Lawyer advised that chance of winning is only 10%. He likes to gain custody of his daughter, he gathers evidence, postponing divorce to boost his chances.

Wataru Okatani (Atsushi Ito) works for the Kanto Newspaper as a local news reporter. He is married to Ayaka and they have a 7 year old daughter. One day, Wataru Okatani discovers that his wife Ayaka is having an affair with Masato Shiba (Teppei Koike). Masato Shiba is the chief manager for the biggest entertainment office in Japan. Wataru Okatani also learns that in divorce cases, fathers' gaining child custody rights are very low in Japan. To gain custody of his daughter, he pretends that he doesn't about his wife's affair and begins to work at home and becomes more involved in his daughter's rearing.
