A group of filmmakers make a "shockumentary", when visiting an abandoned TV studio. But the tables turn when their lunatic victim sets them up on an insane crazy game show.
A trio of hooded hoodlum filmmakers, Jay (Jed Kurzel), Mick (Victoria Dixon-Whittle) and Tommy (Aaron March) have their own horror TV show called Shocko where they scare the living *beep* out of the dregs of society for a cheap laugh. Their latest episode begins with attacking a matron in a hospital, complete with Japanese subtitles, suggesting they will sell the footage to the Asian market. Their next victim guest is Colin (Bernie Ledger) a lonesome overweight man who works as a security guard at an abandoned TV studio and looks like a real loser, perfect for their show. Things all go to plan when sneaking in and vandalizing the studio, and Colin seems to be losing it. But then, something unexpectedly comes over Colin and now the hunted becomes the hunter and he traps the three and sets them up on his own TV show. Turns out Colin used to be a game show host on a show called Scratch, that lasted only a few episodes, but has been reliving it every day since, and his game show is all about humiliation and torture. He has Jay and Mick strapped to chairs, to answer questions with the punishment being a rather severe piercing, or they get the opportunity to save Tommy whose head is inside a microwave oven. Meanwhile, in a caravan not far outside the studio, two layabouts Bill (Michael Habib) and Daisy (Andy McPhee) are the show's only audience, but they'd rather watch the football after stealing a satellite dish. Somepoint later in the show, Colin cross-dresses and gives Jay's face a tonguing. While Bill and Daisy are chowing down as the game progresses, Daisy keeps playing around with the satellite dish to keep track of the game, only for Bill to realize they can see their caravan on TV. The pair then investigate the studio, alerting Colin. The trapped trio then plan a means of escape, only for Tommy still stuck inside the microwave to meet his demise. Jay manages to escape his chair, leaving Mick behind only for her to shortly get away. Colin then has plans to capture the escapees, while Mick thinks about taking the studio tapes for her keeping.
