Maja Nielsen is a divorce lawyer, a working mother and too set in her own ways to bother with men any longer. For her newest case, the divorce of an Italian-German couple, she has to work with Hanno Wolf, who is not only the lawyer of the Italian husband, but also turns out to be a former lover of Maja. Shortly after meeting Hanno again, she has a freak accident, which gives her the ability to listen to the thoughts of all the males around her. While the relationship of the Italian-German couple keeps on deteriorating, Maja uses her new skill to find out from Hanno that the Italian husband is hiding some money from this wife.
