One Man Mission: A man who created a forest of 1360 Acre on his own during the span of 35 years. Deforestation and desertification are some of the major critical issues in India that have led to barren land, increased soil erosion, decreased agricultural production and devastated local wildlife.However this man in India had started planting and cultivating a forest of 1360 acres which has now became a thriving ecosystems. It all started from the devastating 1979 floods of Assam, eastern province of India, many snakes and reptiles were washed to the sandbars and after few days all of them were found dead. This was the sight that changed the life of this man "Jadav Payeng" and decided to go on a fight and make the better world.
