Nobita travels to the future to show his beloved grandma his bride, but adult Nobita has fled his own wedding. Can he ever be a good husband to Shizuka?
One day Nobita Nobi found a old stuffed bear which his grandmother gave it to him. Nobita decided to go back in time to meet his grandmother. Grandma accepts Nobita's belief that he is a young child who has suddenly arrived. Nobita' s grandmother said "I want to see your bride once." And from this one sentence of grandma Doraemon and Nobita's big blasphemy begins. Nobita and Doraemon were trying to show their grandmother a marriage ceremony, but Adult Nobita escaped on the day of his marriage ceremony. Adult Gian and Suneo looking for Nobita. Shizuka who keeps waiting with confidence. Nobita and Doraemon take the time to fulfill the wishes of grandma, to meet the wishes of her family, friends and Shizuka Minamoto, who she likes very much.
Adult Nobita (Megumi Ohara) - following his previous adventure - has managed to change his future for the better, making Shizuka (Yumi Kakazu) marry him.
Meanwhile, back in the past, the child Nobita is up to his usual shenanigans. He has scored zero on his test and his mother Tamako Nobi (Kotono Mitsuishi) yells at him. Nobita is afraid as he has a full desk of zeroes that he hasn't told his mother about. He begs Doraemon to use to Forgerattor, a device that makes people forget the last few minutes. They also find a switch-rope that makes people switch their consciousness.Child Nobita finds his toy bear and remembers his grandmother, who died earlier.
Taken by despair, however, he decides to return to the past to re-meet his beloved grandmother, who died when he was still in kindergarten and whom he was really fond of. The grandmother is happy that Nobita came back in time to be with her and confides in him a great desire: to meet his future bride.Doraemon is skeptical since this might mess up the time-line, so decide to use the Time TV. They see that adult Nobita's friends are not able to contact him.
child Nobita and Doraemon decide to travel to the future to fix this, so that grandma can see the wedding of adult Nobita to Shizuka.The wedding is on, Shizuka is worried, and Nobita is nowhere to be found. Doraemon converts child Nobita into adult Nobita, so that the wedding can take place, and that Shizuka's heart is not broken. Nobita is super nervous, but manages to get married to Shizuka, but cant kiss her. He is super excited by all the food and the wedding cake. But he runs away when he is asked to give a speech, and he has no idea what to say.Takeshi 'Gian' Goda (Subaru Kimura), Nobita's friend has to step up to sing for the wedding party. This embarrasses Nobita's parents' father (Nobisuke Nobi) and mother Tamako, and Shizuka parents father Yoshio Minamoto (Aruno Tahara) and mother Mrs. Minamoto (Ai Orikasa) who try to console them.
child Nobita knows they have to find the adult Nobita to complete the wedding ceremony.Meanwhile, the Nobita of the future, who is about to marry Shizuka and crown his "dream of happiness", is seized by a panic attack and flees into the past to see Doraemon (Wasabi Mizuta) again, fearing that he is not the right person for Shizuka. He uses the same time machine that child Nobita and Doraemon used to come to the future.Doraemon and child Nobita discover this as they return to their point of entry into the future, and find the machine gone.
Since child Nobita and Doraemon are stuck without the time machine, Doraemon uses the soul slipper to send child Nobita's soul into himself at a different time. The soul enters child Nobita 2, who comes to the future to get child Nobita 1 and Doraemon. The soul returns to Child Nobita 1. They return child Nobita 2 to his correct time-line.
Doraemon uses the search cane to find adult Nobita and realizes that he is also in their own time-line. They fetch him and bring him to child Nobita's room. Adult Nobita admits that he is afraid if he will keep Shizuka happy. Doraemon shows adult Nobita on Time Tv that a yr from now, Shizuka is still waiting for him to return. But Adult Nobita is convinced that Shizuka will be happy and find another husband, once she forgets about adult Nobita.Adult Nobita says he would love the chance to live his childhood once more, so he could do it differently. Doraemon uses the switch rope to switch the souls of Adult Nobita and child Nobita, so they each get what they wish for.
But then a rep from the future department store arrives (the guy who sends samples to Doraemon) and says that the Switch-A-rope has a design flaw, and the individuals lose their memories in their new bodies, until they switch back within an hour. Doraemon, & child Nobita, In Adult Nobita's body go looking for the adult Nobita in child Nobita's body.
The adult Nobita, in child Nobita's is being bullied by a group of punks. Shizuka tries to save him, but the bullies turn on her. Nobita tries to defend Shizuka, but is cornered by the bullies, when Gian arrives to save him. Nobita, Suneo and Gian fight to protect Shizuka and Nobita gets his confidence back that he can protect Shizuka. But then he collapses due to his memory fade.As the memories start to fade, Doraemon uses the magic doors to find the location of child Nobita with Adult Nobita's soul. At first the switch doesn't work, and it seems it's too late, but Doraemon persists and the switch back works. Shizuka is in tears and adult Nobita sees how much she loves Nobita, no matter whether he can fight or protect her.
Adult Nobita is satisfied and ready to start his life with his Shizuka. Child Nobita and Adult Nobita visit their parents on the day they were born and find that they were both very happy and loved the new baby very much. They had high hopes for Nobita.Adult Nobita returns to his wedding and gives his wedding speech. Child Nobita goes with Doraemon to grandma & bring her to the wedding to hear Nobita's speech.
Shizuka knew that it wasn't the real Nobita at the start of the ceremony, and she knew that somehow Doraemon helped him. Child Nobita returns Grandma to her time-line, and she says that she is happy that Nobita grew to be a fine young man, who tried so hard to keep his promise. Grandma says that Shizuka married him as she saw that quality in him.
