The series pays homage to horror hosts like Elvira and Svengoolie, adding observational comedy in the same vein as MST3000 and Cinema Sins, all while featuring original comedy skits throughout the eight-episode first season.

The devious, yet hapless warlock, Stro, attempts to conjure an evil army while watching famous, and infamous, horror and science fiction films, using a magical projector of PURE EVIL. Unbeknownst to Stro, his devious device has been sabotaged and instead of the monsters, zombies, vampires, and ghouls he seeks, the minions it conjures wreak havoc and hilarity upon the SINister sorcerer's best laid plans.
