On a beautiful and remote island, the beautiful maiden Mara has been promised in marriage to their god. She escapes however and eventually makes her way deep into the jungle. There she is found by Tarzan who takes him home to Jane and Cheetah. Boy is away studying in England. Mara is afraid her people will come after her and they eventually find her and forcibly return her to her home where their high priest is intent on marrying her to their god.
