One of them is after the killer. Another one is looking for the corpse. And the rest of them can't afford for the body to be found.

William and corruption go hand in hand and his little brother, Nick, often ends up his fall guy. For his latest stunt, William has teamed up with a private nurse to blackmail her current batch of wealthy patients. Their scheme falls apart when one of their marks, Harry Feldman, discovers his extortionists and sicks his goon on them. When William's body gets chopped to pieces and thrown in the Hudson, Feldman turns his man on Nick instead. Nick laughs off the threats until he discovers William's girlfriend dead. His plans to hide until it all blows over are quickly sidetracked when Clifford, a shady life insurance rep, informs him about the policy his brother had and that he might be eligible for a pay out.
