Three friends at a California high school get into all sorts of trouble involving girls, bullying jocks, and the sadistic vice principal.

Three pals in a Midwestern high school (Romanus, Green, Nash) get into all sorts of trouble with bullying jocks, girls, and the school's sadistic security chief.—<[email protected]>

This one-shot pilot that aired on CBS originally as a replacement series for the then-canceled SQUARE PEGS centers around three Midwestern high-school pals starting their freshmen year in high school. Pete Falcone, the leader of the group, is determined to get a car of his own if he can stay out of trouble by orders of his father, Gene. Neil Heffernan is the typical nerd and Dewey Hooper is the resident class clown and aspiring musician. Patti Eubanks is the shy girl who falls for Pete instantly after they give her and her brash friend Robin Dupree a ride to school. The vice principal Mr. Otto is determined to expel Dewey if he tries any funny business this year. Pete also gets himself in hot water after he taunts the younger brother of Garth, a hulking bully who got expelled from school and got placed in military school and is back in town to settle the score. One night, Gene receives a phone call by Garth mistaking him for Pete. Gene then confronts him saying he has his permission to fight him, even though they made an agreement with his mother that no fighting will be tolerated. On the night of the freshman dance, the fight breaks outside, but Garth is knocked out by Patti with a trash can lid and tells Pete to look her up in the phone book as a thank you for saving him.—Kyle J. An unsold sitcom pilot centering around the carefree Pete Falcone and his two friends, nerdy Neil Heffernan and aspiring musician/troublemaker Dewey Hooper. They are starting their senior year at high school, but problems soon arise between the three: Pete is hounded by a girl who has a crush on him and also must fight his former nemesis who got expelled because of him and Dewey is at odds with the mean vice principal and a teacher who is not fond of him skipping his class.—Kyle J. McElravy
