Synopsis

The story starts at the point when Anne Frank's sister is ordered to the work camp, & the family go into hiding.Anne Frank writes in her dairy her thoughts, feelings & future aspirations, whilst living in the cramped conditions with the other seven. The story is over a period of 2 years & 1 month. The constant fear of being found in their secret annex is always on everyone's mind. The Jew haters & secret police are the biggest threats to the group. As time passes Anne Frank is turning in to a young woman. Her thoughts turn to a more mature outlook on life & love. Tamsin Greig of Black Books plays Edith Frank.
