The show is about courage and focus. The main character must shove aside rage for peace and compassion. He battles with his own illusions created by deceitful creatures that are trying to trick him into battle for their leader. The first season deals with the preparation of the battle with the lead villain, and eludes to a teaser that this battle will ensue in the second season. The action keeps the story-line going while the plot keeps you hanging on between confrontations. This is a show that takes inspiration from The Neverending Story, along with several other familiar themes from the generation X era of films, yet, takes the story much further and leaves you pacing a lead to the next episode just to see what happens next. The film and effects are borderline perfect, and are indications that this series has a team behind it that clearly specializes in creating realistic scenery and animation. The makeup and sound effects wow you and help to make the mystical creatures the actors are portray in this series really come to life. The film takes place between 2 worlds. One world being here, which we are familiar with, and the other is detailed to be a multi-level world, with one of the levels of this world being an extremely coveted and heralded sort of legendary level that the retired warriors of the alternate world that have escaped from the world we know in order for them all to live on the mystical world reside upon. The story somehow revolves around their introduction into this world and their journey to eventually make it to that level. The main character often struggles with memories of his past and him not seeing eye to eye with his father. He also has a bad habit of trying to deal with the repressed memories of his past in unconventional ways and stuffing them down. Eventually his rage that's been bottled up boils over, but, will he be able to harness his self-control when he needs it the most?
