The show was filmed at London's Whitehall Theatre in Trafalgar from 1997, then later, The London Studios in Waterloo from 1998 to 1999. The programme features a light entertainment mixture of celebrity guests, live music, comedy and chat. It was the first ever late-night spin-off of the Channel 4 sketch show, Absolutely from 1989 and of course, it was also followed by a similar format to NBC's variety shows such as Late Night with David Letterman in the United States.—Absolutely
