The future Earth; with over 80% having been annihilated in a great war, the rest live under the dominion of a race known as The Third. These beings possess a third Space Eye on their foreheads, and watch over the Earth and it's remaining populace, granting it a limited amount of technology; those who infringe on the so-called Technos Taboo are harshly dealt with. Meanwhile, Honoka, a desert wanderer, along with her sand tank's sentient AI, Bogie, makes her living as a jack-of-all-trades, performing whatever tasks folks may require. This ranges from simple deliveries and escorts to giant insect exterminations. The only task she refuses to do is take human life. Nonetheless, her skill and grace with the katana has earned her the name "Sword Dancer". However, upon rescuing a quiet wanderer named Iks, who also holds the attention of the Third, she finds herself starting to think more deeply about her own inner thoughts and emotions.—gigacaesar
