Ramakrishna, a timid man rents out his house and portrays himself as a feeble old man to receive services from his tenants. His friskiness comes to a halt when each tenant begins to eye for his house.

Ramakrishna is a retiree who lives by himself in his duplex. Life seems to be particularly hard for him as he has no one to cook or tend to him in his old age. His son and daughter in law are staying in US, but he doesn't want to leave his house as he had built it with great difficulty. His friend Bhajahari gives him the idea of taking tenants by renting out one of the floors. Though reluctant at first, he listens to his friend's advice and cooks up a story of being a naive old man whose only child has left him and settled in the USA, and promised each tenant to transfer his 'Will' if they can satisfactorily take good care of him. As he starts to live like a king, the tenants start to doubt his story and each of them find a way to take hold of his 'Will' by hook or by crook.
