Ukiyoe means "the paintings of the floating world" in Japanese. They used to call the real world "The floating world" to express its uncertainty. The movie is consisted with the series of interactions between young businessman, Toshio and his coworkers and with its final twist it reveals the "floatingness" of our society.—Anonymous
