After witnessing his father's death in the Civil War, William returns home to New England to live out his days, but soon he must decide if he is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for others.

Three students, Josh, Billy and Andy, live and work together in enclosed accommodation. Slowly, as one of the three begins to act strangely and detaches himself from the group, suspicions of drug abuse arise.
