Real crime documentary about the unsolved murder of 31-year-old Veronica Lin in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2003.

In 2003, Veronica Lin, aged 31, was found murdered in her parents' neighbor's apartment in Högsbo, Gothenburg, Sweden. The neighbor, who had disappeared, immediately became the prime suspect. However, when the neighbor also turned up murdered and buried in a shallow grave underneath the apartment's balcony, suspicions were turned to Veronica's estranged husband - a Chinese millionaire whom Veronica had met and married in China, and with whom she shared a 3-year-old son. It would take the Swedish police more than 10 years to track down and arrest the estranged husband. He would later be convicted for having ordered Veronica's murder, before the conviction was upturned because of a disqualified juror, and he disappeared again. In this series, 22-year-old Marcus, Veronica's son, tries to find out the truth about his mum's murder. He also tries to contact his Chinese father, whom he has not seen since he was 3 years old.
